Well now, seems another month has passed me by....seriously, where has the time gone?
There have been two more birthdays in our house...my little guy is now a decade old...sniff...
And me, let's just say the I am now headed towards a big one...thanks to everyone that sent birthday wishes, you made my day!
Panzer is a very good helper when it comes to unwrapping presents...
Thank you to Christina for this sweet card and bookmark ~ of course, I love, love, love the sheep!!!
I also won some fabric from Dyeing to Stitch from their Facebook page and they were nice enough to include extra goodies! Two pieces of fabric, some trim and one of their R&R Reproduction charts. Love it ~ thanks, ladies!
Spring seems to have finally arrived (with a few extra cold days thrown in) and that means it is finally time to get back outside for baseball!
And for my little guy...the triathlon training is in full swing. He is very excited about this new adventure. He says he still likes baseball, but this might be "his thing". Love it!
My two younger guys and I stopped at the museum at the Dover Air Force Base on our way home from a rough tournament. Just the thing to lift the mood of the boys...
If you are ever in Dover, DE, I would recommend stopping for a visit. They have some great exhibits inside and out.
And, the family ventured in for a quick visit to the big city for a much belated birthday dinner for my oldest at Fogo De Chao....yummy!
And thanks to the advice of Jacki, we found the eagle! A Philadelphia landmark. Thanks, Jacki ~ the boys loved it!
I really should venture in more often and I need to take my real camera ~ there are so many fantastic old buildings! What do you say, Jacki, we should plan a photo day in the city!
I guess by now you have guessed that my stitching remains neglected. I am very close to being done with my job training and am feeling like I am adjusting to the craziness of our spring schedules, so I hope to get back to my needle and thread ~ I really do miss it! Thanks to all who are hanging in there with me....hopefully I will be back sooner than later and with some stitching to show! And in the spirit of how disorganized and chaotic I have felt, I will leave you with this....
“One of the advantages of being disorganized is that one is always having surprising discoveries.”

I can't believe how time is flying by! :-) You probably drove right by me on your way back from Dover. :-) Did you come up 1 or 13? Either way, we are just a few minutes off of both of those. :-) I still want to get together. Lunch and stitching? Soon? :-)
Happy Birthday to your son and to you. I hope that you both had fabulous, special days. Love all of your photos, thank you so much for sharing. I have been sitting here racking my brains thinking of which U.S. State DE would be and I have decided it must be Delaware - am I right? If I concentrate very hard I can eventually name all 50 states - so different to Australia where we only have six states and two territories!
lots of birthday hugs, Kaye
Lovely post, Your boys are growing up fast.
Looks like you had a happy time for your birthdays Big Hugs.
Aww such a sweet post :)
Time truly flies so quickly.. Looks like you all had a fun time for birthdays ..
Sweet hugs x
Happy birthday to you both! I just adore your dog..he is amazing. A lovely post. The more we get our kids interested in as children, the less likely they are to fill their time up with unsuitable activities as teens. Swimming is an excellent sport to get into..and yes, boys and planes. All good fun lol!
Whew! Busy times. But good times. Happy Birthday to you both. A Happy, Blessed Easter to you!
Oh, such busy, busy days you're having, Catherine! I'm sure you're glad your training is almost over and you'll soon have summer break to look forward to. You know, I actually gave up stitching altogether for those 10 busiest years when I was raising my sons! I didn't realize how much I missed it until I began again when they were all teens.
And I missed your special day! Happy Belated Birthday to you--I hope it was a special one. That cake sure looks yummy--did one of the boys make it? (Ha ha--just kidding!!)
Loved the photos of your trip and especially of the boys in front of the eagle--I just can't believe how giant they're getting...
Happy Easter to you and your family, my friend!
Happy Birthday to you both Catherine, what a lovely trip, Panzer you are a great help love the picture of the paper in Panzers mouth, it looks like he is really owning that wrapping paper, giggles.
Happy Stitching

Wonderful stitchy stuff too!!!!!
Happy birthday to everyone! Your boys are always so busy, as are you! Hooray for them, and good for your youngest in finding his "thing" in life. Great pics of Philly too! As for your youngest being a decade old -- wait till he's no longer a teenager. lol! Enjoy those boys of yours!
Busy days for sure! I know you probably hear it all the time but it's so true - enjoy all these busy days as they're too soon over. :D
I have enjoyed reading your post tonight Catherine. I am a new follower as I found your blog on the Prim Stitchers Society group on Facebook. I look forward to following your posts.

We've driven by Dover AFB so many times when we lived in DE and I never realized there was a museum there. We'll have to check it out for sure.
