It's that time again. So without further delay, here is what my jar is looking like now.
It is getting pretty full and I have to keep pushing the threads down to keep them from sticking out over the top!
I am currently working on some exchange pieces, so my stitching pictures will have to wait. I thought I was having a hard time stitching at night because I was so tired. But add these,
and suddenly the fabric is much easier to see! I only need 1.00 Readers, but it is enough to make a huge difference, especially when stitching on 40 count.
My little guy and oldest guy brought home their art projects.
I love them!
Speaking of the boys. I have to congratulate my middle guy's travel baseball team. They played in a tournament this past weekend and won it all! He's waited so long to be on a travel team like his older brother and to have such success on his first time out was amazing for him!
And my little guy finally got a chance to pitch again!
The regular season is almost over, then it's the playoffs!
Yesterday I got the last minute call to be a chaperon on my middle guy's field trip. So after the fastest shower ever, I headed to the school and from there we journeyed to the zoo. What a hot and crazy day. There were a total of 78 buses of school groups visiting the zoo - crazy I tell ya! We did not have nearly enough time to see everything, so we hit what we could.
My oldest guy was picked to be on the Spirit committee at his school for next year. He certainly has the energy for that!
I am so proud of my boys and the things they are doing!
I hope to have some stitching that I can show you next time, until then -
Thanks for stopping by!!

I love your ORT jar, I was getting worried mine was the only one I had to start packing them in! LOL.
I love my glasses, they help me stitch so much easier now.
Looks like you had a fun trip to the Zoo even if it was hot and crazy :)
I look forward to seeing what you have been stitching for exchanges!

Congratulations to your sons on all their accomplishments! That's so great! As for readers, yes, they are a necessity for me -- I wear them on top of my regular glasses (which have bifocals too). :D
Your ORT jar is wonderful, Catherine! I graduated to an empty Utz Pretzels container for overflow from my ORT jar, so no worries my dear. :)
You are so blessed, to be both such an actively involved Mama, and to have such amazing boys! As a Mama of boys myself (if you can still call them that at 19 and 21) I miss those awesome crazy run hither and yon, I have no time to breath days...they are the best.
The pics are fab and your pride is beautiful, such a great boys you have.
Hugs

Wow, you've been busy by the look of your orts! I think you're lucky to be able to use readers. There are so many fun frame patterns...you can have multiple. Once you're a blind bat like me, you stick to one pair.
The zoo looks like it was fun!
You should be proud of those little guys - they are starting to make their marks on this world early. Lovely orts - looks like you have been busy.
Busy time when you have young ones around. Me, I'm am empty nester, but have three grandchildren that are getting active in sports.
Your orts jar is looking good!!!

It looks like you have been stitching away, even with your very busy young boys. Your boys are cute and the field trip pictures are great!
Wow, that FULL jar is awesome!!!
Great pics of your guys! Enjoy the readers. I have to use them at night, too. I'm okay during the day but I guess my eyes are too tired at night.
Amazing! Awesome!
