Tusal and More Finishes

It is that time again.  Here is my Tusal jar in all of its glory.

I promise that threads have been added.  I just keep squishing them down in the jar so they don't hang out all over the place.

I am also all caught up with the Truly Thankful series by Heartstring Samplery.  Here are the latest additions:

The frames are from the ready-made section at the Strawberry Sampler.

And I finally finished the patriotic smalls that I stitched some weeks back.  Just in time to display for the Fourth!  The fabrics they are sitting on show what I used as backing.  This first piece is backed with a denim looking fabric.  It's hard to tell from the pic.

Just to remind you how small this is:

Here they are in all their glory!

Wishing all of you here in the States a wonderful and safe Fourth of July!
And to our northern friends, a Happy Belated Canada Day!

I'll leave you with some pics from around my gardens.  Thanks, as always, for stopping by!

I love all your stitched pieces. The frames on the Truly Thankful pieces are beautiful.

Your summer flower photos are a welcome sight. Although the sun is shining here in New Zealand, it's a week wintery sun.

Happy 4th of July. Enjoy your celebrations.

All your flowers are beautiful and love that tiny little piece of work! Is that done over one?

Here's a question for you....how many margarita's does it take to cut the end of your thumb off? Oh I'm just kidding. I only sliced the teeny little end off...along with a nice chunk of my thumbnail. I can still stitch!!

Looks like you're all ready for the 4th, Catherine! I love all you stitchings--especially that tiny, tiny eagle--beautiful work :)

I sure wish my flowers looked half as good as yours--we didn't plant much this year and half of it has been eaten by my little deer friends!!

Enjoy your weekend!

I bet your gardens look fabulous. We're between houses at the moment, staying with my parents until our new house is ready, and I'm really missing having my own garden!

What great finishes. I tried to finish my first small, and made some pretty terrible mistakes. Oh well. I did learn a few things.
